The thousands of community-curated objects found in the exhibit space highlight cultures from around the world, with an emphasis on those represented in Indiana. This focused effort on representation provides a sense of identity and belonging for the diverse members of the International Marketplace neighborhood.

What You'll Learn

With 8 permanent exhibit galleries and 2 changing galleries, there is always plenty to learn about Indy’s global cultures.

Exhibits highlight Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Central America, South America, The Caribbean and Oceania.

The Global Gallery hosts 6 exhibits throughout the year that bring together cultures from around the world.

The Welcome Gallery is a space designed for month-long exhibits highlighting specific cultures, artists, and holidays from around the world.

Specific collections like our Masks of the World and Flags of the World are on view yearlong and bring together multicultural displays.

Rent Space at Indy’s Global Village

The Global Village Welcome Center offers a discount for 501(c)(3) organizations and cultural events. Please inquire about pricing for recurring meetings or a full event buyout.

Costs vary depending on the date, number of guests, type of event, and type of organization. All prices are subject to change.
